All you need to know about our services in the Hotel Grüner Wald
Dinner
our restaurants open at 6,30pm and if you have booked the full board option we will serve you our 6 course menu (vegan full board is available for a surcharge of EUR 6,00 p.p./day with advance reservation).
We are also happy to receive à la carte reservations.
Transfer
Please let us know if you would like to be picked up at our nearest train station in Freudenstadt (please use the main station called "Hauptbahnhof" not the city centre station called "Stadtbahnhof)
sports programm
several times a week you can join our beginner courses for Qi-Gong, Yoga, water fitness etc.
dogs
Small and medium-sized dogs (up to 55cm shoulder height) re welcome in some of our rooms for an extra charge of EUR 15.00 per night.Up to a shoulder heigh of max. 30cm you may bring your dog into the restaurant by prior arrangement.
Larger dogs >30cm shoulder height are not allowed in our restaurant, but are welcome to join you in the lobby for an aperitif or after-dinner drink.

Flex rate
Last-minute changes can also effect our planned holiday bookings.
Simply book our Flex rate - this covers all your booked hotel costs up to the day you start your holiday, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. You cancel your holiday at short notice.
You pay the flex rate in advance with EUR 5,00 per person/booked night (from 12 years).
The additional booking can be made within 24 hours of finalising the booking.

What are the check-in times at Hotel Grüner Wald?
Your room is available to you from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Check-out
On request and subject to availability, we also offer you a late check-out:
- until 2 p.m. we charge 30% of the overnight price
- until 4 p.m. we charge 60% of the overnight price
- until 6 p.m. we charge 80% of the overnight price
Bikes & E-Bikes
you can hire our hotel bikes for free or the E-bikes by paying a small fee:
- 2 h: 7 Euro
- 1/2 Tag: 10 Euro
- 1 Tag: 15 Euro

Please take care of our other guests though who would like to enjoy the quietness of our hotel and surrounding.
Further information for families
For your children we have a playground, a giant trampoline and table tennis. We offer special wellness treatments for teenagers. Board games can be borrowed from reception.

Our Restaurant Katharina is particularly suitable for your family celebration or company anniversary.

Mo-Fr 7-10.30am; Sat, Sun & Bank holidays 7.30-10.30am.
Charging station
You are welcome to charge your e-car at our charging station for a fee. Please pick up the card to activate the column at our reception.
Lunch
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., guests who have booked our gourmet board can look forward to a lunch buffet (a simple, warm dish, salad and a small cake).
Parking & car ports
you can use the non covered car park in front of the hotel for free or book ar covered car port for 8 Euro per day
We also offer the option of charging your e-car at a charging station. (for a fee)
Sauna
Our spa area with saunas and steam room is open Mo-Fr 2-9pm and Sat & Sun 11-7pm. Children (min. 16 years old) are only allowed in when guarded by their parents.

No-Show - 80% of the booked offer / price we recommend to take out a travel insurance
